When searching and praying for stories of endurance through persecution and martyrdom, we were blessed to be connected with Jesse Digges and Send56. Jesse and his family have been missionaries in Africa for over 20 years, and have been serving and training up local disciple-makers in Central Nigeria for the last several years.

Immediately after the Christmas Eve attacks, Jesse and the Send56 team jumped into action to support and serve those who had lost everything. They started a fundraising campaign, made connections with local contractors (one of which is Rehila’s brother, Emmanuel, who we meet in the film), and have overseen the rebuilding process of multiple churches and entire villages. That being said, there are still dozens of villages that are still in ruins, waiting to be rebuilt.
